Biography

Josep Torelló (Barcelona, 1982), holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Barcelona and an MA in Interdisciplinary Education in the Arts. He did a postdoctoral research stay at Saint Petersburg State University (Russia). ◯ He has published an essay, La música en las Maneras de Representación cinematográfica (Colección Transmedia XXI, 2015), and two works of fiction, La tela blanca (Saldonar, 2018) and Meravelles tan breus (Edicions del Cràter, 2026). ◯ He used to play in rock bands and collects guitars. ◯ He is currently a Full Professor at Centre de la Imatge i la Tecnologia Multimèdia (CITM) de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
